It was a white December in Poudre City, with newly fallen snow on
the ground. Up the road a ways, an early Christmas was awaiting Daniel
Woods (14) of Longmont, Colorado.
The first problem was difficult to open, but after three tries
the wraps were off and "Canopener Right" (V11) was sitting
under his feet (his first V11).
Full of holiday cheer, "Canopener Left" (V10) was next
on his Christmas list. It opened first attempt, but did not count
as an onsight since it shares moves with "Canopener Right".
Daniel rushed over to his next holiday project, "The F-You
Finger" (V11). This problem is on a picturesque boulder
sitting in an open meadow. Having worked it on two previous trips,
to his surprise, the wraps came off first try that day.
